Established in 2010 in New Orleans, LA, Nola Tawk’s line of 100% Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certified cotton muslin baby clothes are designed as a joyful celebration of everything we love about the South. For those of us who know that tea is something that is served cold and sweet, that a barbecue is different from a cookout, and can argue for days about the best swimming hole in the county, we appreciate a clothing line that has the spirit of the South in mind.
We also love Nola Tawk’s ethic of providing children with clothing that is made with fair-trade materials and printed with water-based inks that are both non-toxic and easy on their skin. This insistence on using environmentally friendly materials with Mama Nature in mind puts Nola Tawk high on the list of companies we are proud to support.

We are back again with another brand spotlight, and we could not be more tickled to introduce you to a company we adore: Ruffle Butts. Made famous for their appearance on the ABC venture capital reality TV show Shark Tank, this Texas based children’s clothing company not only turns heads with its cheeky name, but also with its innovative designs and bold choices of color palette. From one and two piece bathing suits to rash guards and cover-ups, Ruffle Butts is committed to apparel for tots that makes sure they have the best summer imaginable! Though we love the original Ruffle Butts diaper cover, we cannot get enough of their summertime swimwear. Staying true to their Southern roots, we are especially fond of their seersucker bathing suits as it's a pattern that looks great on babies and is also quite apropos for the summer season. Established in 2008, this Florida based brand has been turning heads in the children’s clothing and layette world with their bold colors and forward thinking designs inspired by more traditional girl’s clothes. Woman owned and led, Lemon Loves Limes has a lot to offer to youngsters with an eye for color and comfort! One of the things that sets Lemon Loves Limes apart from other children’s clothing lines is their clear eye for creating outfits that are as functional as they are versatile. Their color palettes are well-coordinated between their different offerings, meaning that all of their dresses pair nicely with nearly any of their leggings! We appreciate this effort from Lemon Loves Limes because this means it’s extremely easy to put together an outfit on those busy school mornings and goes a long way to teach your youngster about matching colors between tops and bottoms! Hello again dear readers! We are back again with another brand spotlight on one of our favorite purveyors of layette: Magnolia Baby. Established in 2006, Magnolia Baby’s mission has always been to provide a layette that is not only stylish, but also functional and of superior quality. All of their products are made with 100% pima cotton which make the clothes remarkably soft and breathable, while also allowing for a level of craftsmanship that makes them imminently wearable. The quality of their work has not gone unnoticed, as they have expanded their presence to over 450 boutiques internationally in places like the UK, Asia, and the Middle East. The selection of clothing is so cute! We are especially smitten with their Go Dawgs! long pajama set that features an applique of an adorable pup perched atop a football. The design of the textile itself is red and white stripes with black cuffs and collar, which is such an excellent color palette that you don’t see enough of in children’s clothing. We also cannot get enough of the Pink Pumpkin toddler dress, which features an all over print of, you guessed it, pink pumpkins! It’s such a lovely classic style with a wonderfully muted palette, that is at once playful and restrained. The pima cotton composition also sets it apart, it’s stylish and yet so soft to the touch. Don’t get us started on the hand embroidered Baby Fox playsuit! For one, the embroidered fox is just too cute for words, and we love the keen design sense that went into this particular piece.
